Blogging v. actual work!
Lovely striped Roman blinds for Emsworth kitchen and Birdham bedroom. Alterations for Lordington, cushions for camper van in Chidham and curtains in Chichester.
We get asked to do a lot of alterations which I have to admit are not my favourite job. However, there is a certain sense of satisfaction in creating something nice from existing curtains – some jobs are like doing a jig saw puzzle. I am all for recycling but I would prefer you to order new curtains!!
I really enjoy what I do but I could really get into this blogging thing – and to think I had to be talked into it! It is a pleasant way of wasting hours and nobody answers back or contradicts me. Is that what it is all about – we can all mutter away to ourselves.
